Thursday, May 4, 6-8 p.m.
LOSD Staff Development Room
Families with a child experiencing a disability are invited to learn what school, employment, and independent living may look like when school services end. The information night is designed for teen and adult-aged students. Families and students of all ages are welcome to attend.
Please join us to learn about:
Post-secondary education resources: PCC Accessible Education and Disability Resources
Employment: Vocational rehabilitation, job development, and job coaching
Adult support services: Eligibility, how to apply, and understanding service provider options
Developing independent life skills: Ridewise Travel training, recreation, and volunteer resources
Parent resources: Includes Special needs financial planning, Down Syndrome Network Oregon
Community Transition Program (CTP): How LO partners with outside agencies to facilitate a seamless transition when exiting school services
Personal experiences from students and families in CTP

The LOSD Staff Development Room is located in building 2477 on the Lake Oswego High School campus. It is the light gray building on the right side of the parking lot of LOH as you enter from Country Club Road.
