Specifically Autism: Evaluating Risk in Toddlers Using a Social‐Emotional Screener

Dr. Dolata is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering program and a speech-language pathologist who specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis.  Her current research projects include examining the utility of a social‐emotional screener in Autism screening, investigating developmental trajectories of children born prematurely, and developing an automated, voice‐based assessment of children’s language abilities.  Her work draws upon a background in linguistics, psychology, speech and hearing science, special education, and pediatric healthcare.
