Family engagement is integral to policy, system planning, and service design, delivery, and evaluation. The lived experience of family members, caregivers, and peers is a form of specialized expertise. When it is considered in collaboration with the expertise of system partners, service quality improves. Family representatives have a vital role to play as members of advisory boards, committees, and councils and it is important to feel confident and well-resourced in this work.

This FREE training will provide information, tools, strategies, and support for family members, caregivers, and peers who are serving as advocates in elevating the family voice.
