Cooking Safely Together – Online Workshop

Thanks to funding from OHA’s Health Equity Grant, Creating Opportunities has put together an online Cooking Safely Together workshop! This training series will teach youth with disabilities, their siblings, parents, and caregivers the essentials of food safety including storage, preparation, and handling. Other topics that will be addressed include:

Handwashing

Surface cleaning

Cooking standards

Monitoring freshness

Each participating family will receive one Cooking Together Safely kit valued over $100 for their entire family, while kits last!
