Understanding SSA Benefits and Employment (Salem)

FreeRegistration is open for the Work Incentives Network’s Understanding SSA Benefits and Employment.
The training dates are March 3, June 26, August 17, and October 26.
Understanding SSA Benefits and Employment is about benefits planning and work incentives programs. You will:
• Learn about benefits basics and work incentives
• Understand how people with disabilities can maintain their employment services and health benefits while working
• Understand the limitations of what you know and what you can do
The training will be held at the DHS Cherry Avenue Training Center, 3414 Cherry Avenue NE, Suite 150, Salem, in the Fort Rock Room.
This day-long training (8:30-4:30) is free of charge. Trainers are Gene Rada and area Work Incentive Counselors.
Pre-registration is required and enrollment is limited to 30 for each session.
Registration is through the iLearnOregon. Please click here to access the website: registration or enter https:/ilearn.oregon.gov into your web browser.
You will need to create an account if you haven’t used the iLearn system before. It’s a new registration program for our training. Please follow the instructions for “How to Create a New Account for Non-State Employees” if you aren’t a state employee.
Once you have created your account, please search for Understanding SSA Benefits or course number C04631. You cannot register groups; each individual must register.
