DESCRIPTION:Join the Education Department with this hands-on opportunity to explore holidays at sea! \nVisitors will get crafty by constructing Christmas trees inspired by the true story of a 1900s sailing ship’s DIY holiday. \nBoth classes will feature hot cocoa and holiday-themed cookies! This event will take place in the Barbey Maritime Center (2042 Marine Drive). \nDate/Time of Program\nFriday\, December 2: 6-8pm\nSaturday\, December 3: 10am-12pm \nLocation\nBarbey Maritime Center\n2042 Marine Drive\nAstoria\, OR 97103 \nPre-registration is required. Register by clicking this LINK. \nPricing \nUp to 4 people per family group (one tree per family) \n$40 per group (museum member price)\n$50 per group (non-member price) \nCall the Museum at 503-325-2323 for more information \nThe museum offers two (2) sensory backpacks that can be used while on site as well as three (3) additional noise cancelling headphones. A sensory map of the museum as well as a social story are available on the website\, linked here. We have two (2) wheelchairs that can be used within the museum too. All these are free resources to make your visit more comfortable.
