DESCRIPTION:Webinar: Parents as Paid Caregivers for Their Minor Children – on Sunday\, July 31\, 2022 at 1:00pm\n\nThe Autism Society of Oregon is hosting a webinar from Oregon Advocates for Equitable Disability Services (OA4EDS)\, an all-volunteer parent group advocating to extend and expand the current temporary waiver allowing parents to be paid caregivers for their minor children who receive developmental disability services. \nThis webinar will:\na)  discuss the current temporary waiver that allows parents to be paid caregivers for their minor children;\nb)  highlight the advocacy by OA4EDS to extend and expand the temporary waiver; and\nc)  provide information about how to advocate for this initiative. \nASO will provide interpretation into any language\, including ASL\, upon request.
