DESCRIPTION:Notice!!! The June meeting of the Supported Teen & Young Adult Group is cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. The group will meet at the regular time in July.\n  \nPresented by The Autism Society of Oregon \nNew Description! \nThis group is for Autistic teens and young adults who may need a parent\, guardian\, or caregiver to participate. Our group enjoys miniature environments like toy trains\, watching clips together mostly of animated short films and shows\, music and dance videos. They also enjoy drawing together. \nAge- late teens/early to mid twenties. \nThis group meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 1-2 PM online. \nRegister for the Zoom LINK HERE \nActivities include: \ndrawing with a tutorial\ncasual club to share interest\nwatching short YouTube videos\nopen to new ideas \nThe Supported Teen & Young Adult Club is led by Danitza Galvan who has a Master’s Degree in Early Intervention/Special Education and who is the parent of a young Autistic adult. \nFor questions or more info\, call us at 503-636-1676 or email LoriB@AutismSocietyOregon.org
