DESCRIPTION:Presented by PEACE NW  \nBuilding Independence is a program designed to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in gaining the skills\, confidence\, and resources they need to live more independently. Through a mix of in-person and virtual sessions\, participants engage in activities focused on daily living skills\, self-advocacy\, community engagement\, communication\, among various other activities. Our group enjoys miniature environments like toy trains\, watching clips together mostly of animated short films and shows\, music and dance videos.
