DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Columbia River ​Maritime Museum \nSaturday\, December 10\, 2022\, 11:00-11:30 AM & 1:00-1:30 PM.\nFord/Kern Room \nBring home a handmade souvenir from the museum by making your own sailors’ valentine!\nSailors’ valentines were gifts that seamen would often bring to their friends and family from their travels.\n​We will be working with many types of seashells to craft our own designs.\nAll ages and abilities welcome. \nCall the Museum at 503-325-2323 for more information \nThe museum offers two (2) sensory backpacks that can be used while on site as well as three (3) additional noise cancelling headphones. A sensory map of the museum as well as a social story are available on the website linked here. We have two (2) wheelchairs that can be used within the museum too. All these are free resources to make your visit more comfortable. \nFREE with Museum Admission – MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS FREE!
