SUMMARY:Columbia River Maritime Museum Sensory Sundays (Astoria)
DESCRIPTION:Museums for All https://museums4all.org/ provides free or reduced admission for families with SNAP benefits. ASO can provide scholarships for families that don’t qualify. Also\, kids 5 and under and active duty military are free. Cost is $3.00 with EBT/SNAP card \nSensory Sunday runs the first Sunday monthly from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. There are no additional fees to participate. All ages and abilities are welcome during this lower sensory time. Audio will have lowered volume or be completely turned off. Some videos will be completely turned off. The Self- Regulation Station will be set up in the Ford Room with a soft blanket\, bean bag chair\, folding chairs\, foam flooring\, sensory bins\, fidgets\, and BB Sea Reads. The lights will be dimmed and blinds closed to create a calm space participants can utilize if overstimulated. \nWe would love to see YOU there! No reservations required so drop by and *WAVE* hi to our crew.
