DESCRIPTION:This training series is brought to you in partnership by: \nThe University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at OHSU and Among Friends\, LLC \nSexual Self-Determination Training Program \nTier 1 – Foundations \nThis training will give participants a broad set of tools to understand and support the sexual health and development of people they support. These tools are beneficial for anyone\, and especially helpful for people who work with someone who experiences intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. \n This course can be taken as a stand-alone training to strengthen your skills or as part one of our three-part sexual self-determination certification program! \n\n     Attendance for all 3 days is required to receive a certificate of completion and be eligible for Tier 2. (Tiers 1 and 2 are prerequisites to Tier 3: Train-the-Trainer)\n     Scholarship funds are available for those with financial barriers.\n     CEU’s are available in multiple states! DESCRIPTION:Applications Being Accepted Until Sept 1\, 2023 for this Workshop Series from Synergy Autism Center!\n  \nFriendship & Dating Workshop for Neurodiverse Adults\nFor Ages 18 and over \nStarting Sept 18\, 2023\, Workshop Sessions are held twice a week over a 10-week period. Each session is 1.5 hours.\n \nSession topics include: emotions and feelings\, different types of relationships\, communication\, boundaries\, the dating process\, healthy relationships\, safety in relationships\, sexual health\, and conflict resolution. \nThis special opportunity is a first run of the program. Synergy Autism Center is offering this workshop at a reduced price of just $75/week ($750 for full 10 weeks of the program). \nWhat is included?\nTwo 1.5 hour sessions per week. DESCRIPTION:Presented by The Autism Society of Oregon \nTryon Creek Nature Walk \nWho- These walks are meant to be a safe space for Autistic individuals\, their families\, friends\, and supporters to be together to enjoy and experience nature without any agenda and no judgment. The Family Walks are open to people of all ages\, while the Adult Walk is open to anyone age 18 and older. \nWhat- Come and enjoy a beautiful\, guided nature walk at Tryon Creek State Natural Area. DESCRIPTION:This training series is brought to you in partnership by: \nThe University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at OHSU and Among Friends\, LLC \nSexual Self-Determination Training Program \nTier 1 – Foundations \nThis training will give participants a broad set of tools to understand and support the sexual health and development of people they support. These tools are beneficial for anyone\, and especially helpful for people who work with someone who experiences intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. \n This course can be taken as a stand-alone training to strengthen your skills or as part one of our three-part sexual self-determination certification program! \n\n     Attendance for all 3 days is required to receive a certificate of completion and be eligible for Tier 2.
