SUMMARY:Supporting Our Disabled Students/Apoyando a Nuestros Estudiantes Discapacides - Virtual Disability Justice Speaker Series
DESCRIPTION:The 2nd of We Can Do Better’s Virtual Disability Justice Speaker Series will be on Supporting our Disabled Students \nTuesday\, January 23\, 2024 · 3 – 5pm PST \nASL and Spanish Interpretation available. \nMore info and register at LINK HERE \nStudents with disabilities include those who have physical disabilities\, are medically fragile\, intellectually or developmentally disabled\, have learning disabilities (such as dyslexia\, dysgraphia and/or dyscalculia)\, or may have disabling mental health conditions. In Oregon the latest graduation rates for students with disabilities is 67.5% compared to 81.3% for all students. In some districts it is as low as 50%.
