DESCRIPTION:JOIN US IN\nBend\, OR\n(Specific address to be announced based on number of people interested)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Oregon Council on Developmental Disabilities is partnering with Neighborhood Partnerships to conduct focus groups on housing for people with IDD and their families. They are traveling around the state\, but are kicking off our focus groups in Central Oregon next Monday\, May 14th from 5:30-7:30 pm in Bend. \nFor the family focus group\, we are specifically looking for family members who would like to join us next Monday evening to discuss what home means to them\, what they would like to see and not see in housing for their family or for their loved one who experiences IDD\, and what it will take to make their vision a reality.  \n\nThese focus groups will help set the foundation for advocating for meaningful housing policy change and development for people experiencing IDD and their families. \nThe Council is offering a $30 stipend to families who attend. They are also offering a $25 childcare stipend and will reimburse for mileage. \nTo RSVP\, please email Dianna@codsn.org or call (541) 548-8559.
