Revel in the joys of getting out in nature with bird-themed fidgets\, a wildlife scavenger hunt\, and provided picnic lunch (optional). \nThis welcoming outing is designed to be accessible to wheelchair and power chair-users and neurodivergent community members. DESCRIPTION:Presented by The Autism Society of Oregon \n(Online) Support and Discussion Group for Autistic Adults – Thursday Edition\, age 18 + Meets online every Thursday\, from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. \nThe purpose of this group is to cultivate a safe\, affirming space to process and discuss what it’s like to be autistic in the world. \nWe will be reviewing books\, talking about neurodiversity\, and openly talking about life on the spectrum in general. \nThe group is facilitated by Lisa Sawyer\, an Autistic adult and a peer. Lisa is an active volunteer in the community\, having worked many years in homeless services and peer support for adults.
