DESCRIPTION:Pittock Mansion to Hoyt Arboretum Nature Walk \nNature Walk for Autistic Adults – Organized by ASO in Partnership with Portland Parks and Rec \nSunday\, June 22\, 2025 \nJoin ASO in partnership with Portland Parks and Rec for a scenic 45 minute stroll through beautiful natural surroundings on Sunday\, June 22\, 2025. We will all meet at the ASO office (9320 SW Barbur Blvd.) at 12:15 pm. Portland Parks and Rec will provide a bus to transport participants from the ASO office to Pittock Mansion and return to ASO office. \nThe bus will leave the ASO office at 12:30 pm. The walk begins at Pittock Mansion and ends at Stevens Pavilion\, Hoyt Arboretum. The bus will return to the ASO by 2:30 pm. \nRegistration is FREE but required. \nRegister at LINK HERE \nQuestions? This is our time to SHINE!!!\n\nOur groundbreaking\, social justice documentary is called\, We are the Most Beautiful People | Adults with Disabilities\, created by three Portland filmmakers with varying disabilities. We’re having a 2nd screening at Hollywood Theatre on Sunday June 22nd at 2pm.\n\nWe are the Most Beautiful People challenges societal norms\, exploring the profound themes of ableism\, racism\, intersectionality\, and the distinction between Disability Rights and Disability Justice in the U.S. This is the first film uniting a minority\, the largest minority\, Persons with Disabilities\, that spans the globe.\n\nThis film is so important\, now more than ever! Our last screening sold out in one day. Get your tickets now for our Final Cut Screening June 22nd 2:00pm at Hollywood Theatre (<- link to Hollywood to purchase tickets).\n\nThe film has collaborated with local disability organizations\, United Cerebral Palsy Oregon and WA\, Community Vision\, PHAME\, and North Pole Studio\, along with many organizations and individuals from around the world.\n\nParticipants of the Arts for All program can purchase tickets for a discounted price.\n\nNote: The Hollywood Theatre is a historic building that has limited accessibility in its ground-level bathrooms.
