DESCRIPTION:Presented by Multnomah County Library \nSensory Storytime with Multnomah County Library \nJoin us for stories and songs in an environment especially welcoming to those on the autism spectrum and families looking for a smaller\, more adaptive library experience. In person storytimes are Saturdays at 11:15 at the Capitol Hill Library and Gregory Heights Library.  Each storytime includes a hands-on activity. \nRegistration is open for the Summer session of the online Sensory Storytime presented via Zoom on Tuesdays at 3:30. Those who register on Zoom can receive activity kits each month. \nRegistration for the online storytime can be fund at LINK HERE \nAll abilities are welcome. SUMMARY:Keizer Inclusive Egg Hunt
DESCRIPTION:ASO is partnering with Joieful Connections and Alliance Services to host an Inclusive Egg Hunt. This event is to celebrate all individuals with a variety of sensory preferences and is designed to accommodate all individuals\, including those who require a quieter and more sensory-friendly environment. \nDate: Saturday\, March 29\, 2025 \nLocation: Chalmers Jones Park ~ 930 Chemawa Road NE\, Keizer\, OR 97303 \nTimes: Noon – 1:30pm and 1:30pm – 3:00pm \nWe have considered the diverse range of sensory sensitivities among participants\, and we offer different elements to ensure that everyone can enjoy the experience. \nFor those who prefer a quieter environment due to sensory sensitivities\, we have designated an All Inclusive “Quiet” Egg Hunts where they can engage in the Egg Hunt in a way that is comfortable and enjoyable for them\, without feeling overwhelmed by noise or distractions. This egg hunt is from Noon – 1:30pm. \nOur All-inclusive “Free For All” Egg Hunt is for those children who do not need a quiet environment but still want the flexibility of a come and go style egg hunt. This Egg Hunt will be from 1:30 – 3:00pm. \nWe will also have snacks and crafts available. \nJoin us for a fun-filled Egg Hunt in a welcoming environment where every person can participate and have a memorable time\, regardless of their sensory preferences. \n\nFree Event – Must Register to Attend \n\nRegister at LINK HERE \nQuestions?
