DESCRIPTION:Presented by The Autism Society of Oregon \nTryon Creek Nature Walk \nWho: These walks are meant to be a safe space for Autistic individuals\, their families\, friends\, and supporters to be together to enjoy and experience nature without any agenda or judgment.  \n(Adult walk – ages 18+) This event is for Autistic adults only. We will have family dates available in Spring/Summer. \nWhat: Come and enjoy a beautiful\, guided nature walk at Tryon Creek State Natural Area. The guided walks will be led by an Oregon Master Naturalist\, Certified Interpretive Guide and former ASO Board member. \nWhen: \nSunday\, March 9 from 1:00 to 2:30 \nSunday\, April 13 from 1:00 to 2:30 \nSunday\, May 18 from 1:00 to 2:30 \nWhere: Tryon Creek State Natural Area: 11321 Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard Portland\, OR 97219 \nParking can be limited. Consider arriving early to allow time to park and join the group. \nWe are capping each guided walk at 20 people. DESCRIPTION:Cosplay Club for January has been moved to January 19th due to a scheduling conflict. The group will resume in February on the usual date. \n  \nWho: For Cosplay enthusiasts of all ages\, beginners or experienced cosplayers welcome. \nWhat: A free in-person & online cosplay group for making new friends\, designing and creating costumes together. \nWhen: Every 2nd Sunday of the month\, from 2-4 PM \nWhere: 830 NE 47th Ave\, Portland\, OR 97213 \nTo register for the event\, contact us at 503-636-1676 or events@AutismSocietyOregon.org \nA responsible adult must stay at any ASO event with all children under age 14 and anyone who requires a caregiver for their safety. Unless otherwise specifically stated\, ASO cannot provide caregiving services at our events and is not responsible for personal safety. \n \nAdditional meetings take place on the 3rd Friday of each month\, from 5:00 – 8:00pm at Artful Autism in Beaverton. An Autistic run social group with light structure. Everyone is allowed to socialize as they wish. Supplies and snacks are provided – nothing is required to bring.
