SUMMARY:Tryon Creek Nature Walk (SW Portland)
DESCRIPTION:We are postponing the Tryon Creek Walk originally scheduled for February 16 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. Due to the current trail conditions\, with several inches of slush making it uncomfortable for walking\, we believe it’s best to reschedule.\nWe will now be holding the walk next Sunday\, February 23\, 2025 at the same time\, 1:00 to 2:30 PM. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility\, and we hope to see you all next week when the conditions improve.\nThank you for your support\, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.\n\n\nPresented by The Autism Society of Oregon \nTryon Creek Nature Walk \nWho: These walks are meant to be a safe space for Autistic individuals\, their families\, friends\, and supporters to be together to enjoy and experience nature without any agenda or judgment.  \n(Adult walk – ages 18+) This event is for Autistic adults only. We will have family dates available in Spring/Summer. \nWhat: Come and enjoy a beautiful\, guided nature walk at Tryon Creek State Natural Area. The guided walks will be led by an Oregon Master Naturalist\, Certified Interpretive Guide and former ASO Board member. \nWhen: \nSunday\, February 23 from 1:00 to 2:30 \nSunday\, March 9 from 1:00 to 2:30 \nSunday\, April 13 from 1:00 to 2:30 \nWhere: Tryon Creek State Natural Area: 11321 Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard Portland\, OR 97219 \nParking can be limited. Consider arriving early to allow time to park and join the group. \nWe are capping each guided walk at 20 people. Meets online only every other Sunday\, from 5:30pm – 7:00pm\, starting Sunday\, March 24\, 2024.  \nFor female-identifying and non-binary Autistic people\, ages 18 and up\, looking for an accepting environment in which to hangout with other female-identifying or non-binary Autistic adults.  \nCome chat\, relax\, or just chill.
