DESCRIPTION:Wednesday February 28\, 2018 \n10:30 AM-12:00 PM ; OHS 8B60 Auditorium \nSpecifically Autism: Evaluating Risk in Toddlers Using a Social‐Emotional Screener \nPresenter:  Dr. Jill Dolata\, Ph.D. \nOHSU-Center for Spoken Language and Understanding \nDr. Dolata is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering program and a speech-language pathologist who specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis.  Her current research projects include examining the utility of a social‐emotional screener in Autism screening\, investigating developmental trajectories of children born prematurely\, and developing an automated\, voice‐based assessment of children’s language abilities.  Her work draws upon a background in linguistics\, psychology\, speech and hearing science\, special education\, and pediatric healthcare.
