Support Groups Sponsored by ASO

New: Change in Online Support Group in Eastern Oregon: The current one is being discontinued and a new one is being started on Facebook as Eastern Oregon Autism Support. Here is the link: www.facebook.com/groups/EasternOregonAutismSupport. It is a closed group, so all members have to be approved. Invited to join are self-advocates, family members, and professionals in the field. 

Special Needs Families Connect (Pendleton) - Meets on the 4th Monday of every month from 5:30-7:00 pm at the First Christian Church, Pendleton, OR (unless otherwise posted at www.facebook.com/familiesconnect ).  Come join our group of Special Needs families supporting each other!  Our meetings feature free childcare and dinner provided by the Autism Society of Oregon.  For more information email: familiesconnect@zoho.com or call 541-377-0790

Pendleton Parks and Rec is offering "open gym" for Special Needs Families every Sunday from Noon-1:30pm free of charge!  The Helen McCune Gym is located at 510 SW Dorion in Pendleton, and has a variety of equipment for people to use. (Off during the summer)
