Visual Stories: An introductory training to family members and support providers on how to share information in a visual way.

Visual Stories can help teach a person about specific social situations which can lead to:
  • Easier transitions during the day
  • Learning new skills
  • Having more friends
  • Increased understanding

Participants will learn how to create Visual Stories using a variety of tools:

  • Low tech options-drawing on a sticky note, dry erase boards
  • High tech options-computers, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Examples will be provided and we encourage you to bring your mobile devices for hands-on training
Training is limited to 25 participants.

The content of this training is based on the principles and values of Positive Behavior Support (PBS).
