What to expect when entering the brokerage system at age 18, with an overview of available services, and what the school system vs. brokerages are responsible for.

Presenters:

Sarah Knight, UCP Connections Director (a brokerage) - Sarah Knight has 11 years of experience in the brokerage system as administrative support, a Personal Agent, and Provider Coordinator. She started as the Brokerage Director at UCP to start up the newest brokerage in December 2010.

Amy Jackson, Service Coordinator, Clackamas County DD Services - Amy Jackson has been a CDDP service coordinator with Clackamas County DD services for over three years. Prior to that, she worked with parents and families of Clackamas County through various non-profits providing parenting support, resources and advocacy. Amy is also the proud mom of a beautiful young man experiencing Down syndrome and Autism.
