ASO Workshop: "Path to Employment"

Path to Employment will provide information and strategies for overcoming the challenges that autistic individuals face in finding employment.
Presentations by Peter FitzGerald and Debra McLean will cover the full range of planning and preparation for employment, including:
- Planning ahead and discussing future employment goals as a family
- Services, systems, and eligibility for adults and transition-age teens
- Person-centered approaches to find the right job for each individual
- Stories of personal triumphs through creative methods
- Question & Answer period
Presentations will be followed by a Panel Discussion with adults on the autism spectrum who will discuss their own career paths, employment experiences, and take questions from the audience. Panelists: Karla Fisher, Dora Raymaker, Matt Sloan. Facilitator: Barbara Avila
