The State has jobs all over the state. 

WHO: Job Seekers with Disabilities

Participating Agencies: Department of Forestry, Parks and Recreation, Oregon Department of Transportation, Fish and Wildlife, Department of Administrative Services, Department of Housing, Department of Human Services, Oregon Health Authority, Department of Justice, Department of Employment, Oregon Business Development Department, Oregon Judicial Department, Department of Revenue, Department of Corrections. 

WHAT: A chance to meet representatives from State Agencies and find out what types of jobs they have available. 


The State of Oregon in partnership with Incight and Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation Services (OVRS) will host an informational and networking event to introduce job seekers with disabilities to career opportunities with State Agencies.

SCHEDULE:            1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Welcome and Agency Introductions

                          2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Booths open, network with State Agencies

                          4:00 - 5:00 p.m. How to Apply for a Job with the State

WHY: Because seventy percent of people find jobs through networking and the State of Oregon is reaching out to people with disabilities. You will have the opportunity to meet different state agencies and explore opportunities throughout the state. 

WHERE: Oregon State Fairgrounds, Building 34, 2330 17th ST. NE Salem, Oregon                  97303

PARKING: Free Parking will be available. From 17th street turn into the fairgrounds parking lot, there is a road that leads between the Americraft Center and Columbia Hall. Park in the large parking area in front of Cascade Hall. Follow the signs!
